Before the development of the website, Scholl Antriebselemente had no online presence, which resulted in low visibility for the company on the internet. The requirements were clear: a website that not only showcases the products but also serves as a point of contact for custom orders and presents the company in the best possible light.
The website has been developed with a clean, modern design that focuses heavily on showcasing the product catalog. Images depicting the products and the production process are integrated throughout the site to enhance the visual experience. A bright design was chosen to reflect the purity and cleanliness of the manufacturing process, creating a professional and welcoming atmosphere.

Challenges
Product Management and Deployment Automation
A significant challenge was that Scholl Antriebselemente wanted the products to be adjusted and managed independently. This requirement was addressed by integrating WordPress as a Content Management System (CMS). All product data and images are stored in WordPress, and a nightly cron job triggers a GitHub pipeline that rebuilds the project and uploads it via FTP to the hosting server. By using Astro, it is ensured that the site is decoupled during the build process, so there are no direct references to the WordPress server, allowing the built site to run independently.
